In a rematch of last year's SELC Championship, Elon(4) faced Eckerd College(5) in the quarterfinals at Chatahoochie High School.  The Phoenix controlled most of the game and finished with a 12-5 win.

In the semifinals, Elon had a chance to play against #1 seeded UNC Charlotte in a highly anticpated game.  In a contest with several penalties and UNCC leading for the majority of the first three quarters, it didn't seem like Elon was going to overcome the lead which was by five goals at one point.  However, the Phoenix were able to rally back in the fourth quarter and eventually tie it up at 11-11 with 1:30 left in the game.  In overtime, Elon was not able to convert on man up and ended up falling 12-11 to the 49ers.

Coming in at #21, Elon fell to its lowest ranking on the Shamrock MCLA Division B Coahes Poll this season.  Other SELC teams in the rankings include Emory(8) SCAD(16) Eckerd(17).
